-Réveille-toi ma puce… On se réveille!
C’est Mommy, elle veut que je me lève parce qu’on part pour l’aéroport.
-Mets ta veste, et ton coupe-vent d’été Salty.
-Mais Mommy, c’est froid dehors, c’est l’automne.
-Non chouette, là où on va, ça va toujours être l’été.
On a pris deux avions. Le pilote du dernier avion est même venu me donner sa badge de pilote! Wow!
Mommy dit:
-Maintenant, il faut aller chercher nos bagages. On a 6 grosses poches de 50 livres chacune. J’espère qu’on va trouver un petit chariot hein. Suivez-moi, je pense qu’ils sont par là.
L’aéroport était SUPER GRAND. Avec plein de magasins.
-Regarde Mommy! Un bracelet rose dans la vitrine. Je veux le voir!
-Non cocotte, on doit aller changer rapidement Matey de couche et ensuite aller chercher nos sacs.
Ahhhh… Elle veut jamais que je regarde des trucs et veut toujours que je reste proche d’elle tout le temps dans l’aérop…. HEY!? MAIS C’EST DADDY!????
-MOMMY! C’est Daddy!!!!!????
-Ok, oui c’est lui! Cours le voir… Pas besoin de rester avec moi cette fois.
J’ai couru aussi vite que j’ai pu. Matey a fait pareil avec un peu de retard (il comprends toujours plus tard que moi, puis moi, ben je suis s-u-p-e-r vite).
-DADDY! DADDY!!!!
-Daddy!! DADDDDYYYYYY!!!!!
J’ai fait un câlin à Daddy comme si je ne l’avais pas vu depuis des années. Mais c’est vrai que ça faisait déjà 2 mois et demi.
-Mais! Daddy?
-Qu’est-ce qu’il y a ma puce?
-T’es déguisé?
-Hein? Ben non, qu’est-ce que tu veux dire?
-T’as une moustachhhheee!
-Ahh… Et bien eeuh…oui. Aimes-tu ça?
-OUI! J’aime ça Daddy. Mais… ça pique un peu.
-Oh. Alors je vais peut-être la couper. Peut-être.
Mommy et Daddy se sont embrassés. Puis Matey et moi on a chacun pris la main de Daddy et on est partis pour chercher les bagages.
Note de Sam : Oui, on est finalement tous ensemble depuis ce jour-là! Et ce sentiment de tenir la main de ses enfants et les serrer dans ses bras est vraiment doux au cœur comparativement à tenir à la main un outil et soulever des matériaux. 😉

Today, I went to the beach with my kids.
