Mini’s Pocketbook 3. The Cake Revelation.

This morning when I woke up, Mom couldn’t stop smiling:
-You’re ONE year old today my big boy!!!
Whatever that means, she is way too intense in the morning… Just give me my cereals Mommy!
Later during the day, there were some balloons inside and outside the boat. I even received a big bag with colourful papers on top to play with. There was a book inside, but hey, hello Daddy, hello Mommy, I can’t read!? So the papers were much nicer. Lot of fun!
I received a weird book with fur. Sometimes I try to eat his mouth and he kisses me in return.
But I didn’t know about the best part of being one year old. I got to get my first cake. It arrived with a candle lit on top and everyone was singing a song at the same time! I wonder when they practice to learn that song and sing it for my birthday!?
Mommy didn’t get the time to get the spoon for me. To bad, Daddy is not fast enough for me anyway : I’ll taste it with my fingers.
ŞPLAT! I put my two hands in the cake and bring my fingers to my mouth.
HOLLY MOLLY!!!! THIS IS THE SUGAREST THING I’VE EVER TASTED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! GI-MME-MO-RE!!!!!
I ate as much as I could. Mommy, Salty and Daddy also had some for themselves.
-DA DAAAAAA BLAAAA BAAAA!!!!! (DON’T EAT ALL MY CAKE!!!! HEY!)
-Ah you like it Matey boy!
Grrr…. I will try to keep some secretely for a midnight snack. Otherwise Salty will eat everything.
-Matey! How did you manage to get frosting on your foot!? mom says.
